Billion Dollar Treasure Inside Ancient Temple

An incredible discovery was made inside a South Indian temple after a vault was examined after being sealed away for over a century. 
Temple officials from the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple report that treasures worth several billion dollars were hidden within the secret vaults and that there is much more to be uncovered.

Backyard Treasures

Somebody had a Good Friday last week.
An Austrian man, currently only being identified as "Andreas K." from Wiener Neustadt, south of Vienna, was doing a little landscaping on his property and dug up over 200 pieces of 650 year old baubles. 
How often is one digging around in their backyard and stumbles upon a treasure trove of medieval jewelry? Probably about as often as you would find me digging around in my own back yard period.

Old School Jewels on Exhibit at the Getty Villa

I recently took a mini field trip with some girlfriends to the Getty Villa in Malibu, CA, a museum famous for its remarkable Greek and Roman art and its breathtaking grounds. 

We came to enjoy the sights (and the wine) when I stumbled upon a treasure trove of ancient jewelry!
