Lanvin F/W 2011 Paris
With the shifty weather we are experiencing here in L.A., its hard to tell what season we are in. Sure, we've been having those too-perfect, California sunshine days since February. But just when you thought you were about to slide into those bikini bottoms, the relentless rain appears and you're left wishing you hadn't put away your heavy coats and those sicking boots you bought last fall.
Which brings me to the Lanvin Fall/Winter 2011 collection, shown at Paris Fashion Week. Mix a few pieces from this collection into your wardrobe a little early this year while suffering the vacillating weather.

Taylor's $150 M Dollar Jewelry Collection to be Auctioned for AIDS Charities
After learning of the passing of Elizabeth Taylor, I scoured the internet to revisit the many iconic images of her in addition to clips from her most memorable movie scenes and loving tributes to her by her fans. Naturally, a reoccurring theme amongst the images were the countless necklaces, rings and dazzling diamonds that were her trademark. Diamonds were her wardrobe.
It's hard to put a price tag on some of the most precious possessions of the icon, but her rivaled collection of jewels have a reported worth of over 150 million dollars. My Fox in Chicago reports that her jewelry will likely go up for auction with the bulk of the proceeds going to support her AIDS foundation as well as the American Foundation for AIDS research. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate her memory.

Quake Crisis and Diamond Prices
In the wake of the recent crisis in Japan, experts say that diamond prices and demand will show little to no change globally despite initial fears within the industry. Although stocks from other luxury goods companies have been hit hard as a result of the destruction of the quake and tsunami, there is a logical explanation.

The Quintessential Concierge
If there were ever a "Member's Only" jacket that I could see myself wearing, it would definitely have giant "Q" on the front the front of it. To my knowledge, QUINTESSENTIALLY does not make jackets for their exclusive clientele of the worlds wealthiest players, so I would settle for their members only black card that essentially can make all of your wildest dreams come true.
The global concierge known as Quintessentially is famous for their dedicated efforts to go above and beyond for their clients, and by beyond, I'm mean the bar is set to near impossible altitudes.
Ben Elliot, one of the company's co- founders has claims that, "We can make anything happen, anywhere, anytime". Let's define "anything"... Say a party of 300 at the Great Pyramids perhaps?

Jumping in front of trains is a little extreme, but I can justify catching a grenade for the one you love if its embellished with black and white diamonds.
