You may not be seeing these ads for a while...--In a media release ... TAG Heuer confirmed that the company would continue its relationship with Woods, "but will respect his desire of privacy by modifying his role in the coming months' marketing programs."
"The partnership with Tiger Woods will continue, but we will downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time, depending on his decision about returning to professional golf," Jean-Christophe Babin, president and CEO of TAG Heuer, said in the release.

vK's Kudos- Winter Eyewear
I haven't experienced many days in Beverly Hills that actually qualify as "fur coat weather". Still, I didn't object after spotting one today at breakfast during one of our 73° degree winter mornings.
Same goes for sunglasses. Morning or evening, nite club or church (side-eye) designer eye wear is as common in the everyday wardrobe asleggings on ever freaking chic in LA denim.

Dom Pérignon "Black Box" by Marc Newson
House of Dom Pérignon has tapped industrial designer Marc Newson for a new concept in champagne preservation.
The "Black Box" is a specially designed carrying case that not only protects the bottle from wear and tear, but it actually keeps the Dom chilled during travel. Cool.
They are available now in France; unfortunately you wont see them stateside until 2010 at select markets.

Xmas Extravagance
You've decided on your tree; now for decorating...
If you plan on going all out this year, why not deck the halls with an ornament carrying the price tag of a Maserati?
Hallmark Jewelers has set out to become the name that's synonymous with Christmas by creating the world's most expensive tree ornament. It would definitely make for a beautiful addition to someones Christmas tree; I can imagine the gifts underneath it after that shot to the pockets. But it's nothing to a boss.
--The ornament itself is composed of 18 carat white gold and is studded with over one and half thousand diamonds. Two rings consisting of 188 red rubies surround the body of the ornament. It took over 130 hours just to set the gems in the piece. The National Association of Goldsmiths independently valued the bauble at 82,000 British pounds which depending on the exchange rate is just over $130,000. (Source: Wealth Republic)

Close Ups: M. Sturman Jewelry Featured in Sex and the City Movie
To say that I have a mild case of "Carrie Fever", is probably the understatement of the day.
As I'm counting the days until the new Sex and the City Movie is released, I've been keeping an eye out for the lastest fashions that are slated to be donned in the flick; including some interseting jewelry picks.
M. Sturman Jewelry has reportedly sent over samples from their line of beaded necklaces that are expected to make the cut for the new SATC movie. Now, which one of the fab foursome will be wearing these necklaces remians to be seen, but I'll certainly be keeping a close watch.

Jewelry Watch: American Music Awards
In case you missed the fab looks at the American Music Awards last night, the stars hit the red carpet wearing some serious arsenal.
Here's a look at some of the dazzling divas in diamonds.
Comeback queen Whitney Houston was dripping in platinum and white diamonds by Neil Lane.
American Idol's Paula Abdul went a little over-kill on with her diamond and garnet mixed bracelets, but it was a good look overall.
Fashionista Rihanna was hard core with her black and white diamond rings and some beautiful diamond stud earrings.
Shakira was hot in this gorgeous yellow number. I would have lost maybe two or three pieces of jewelry with this look though.
Mary J Blige killed her performance in some amazing pieces.
Update: MJB reportedly rocked $800,000 worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Nice!
Adam Lambert rocked what looked alot like the Alexander McQueen four finger ring.
Entertainment Tonight's Julie Moran wore a stunning diamond necklace. WORK.
Poor J Lo....
Ferga-licious had an icy performance with the Black Eyed Peas.
And finally, the lovely Miss Alica Keys went with a pair of cute diamond earrings and bangles with her hot blue number.
Great looks guys! ~vK

Birthstone: November
TOPAZ vs CITRINE
Believed by the Egyptians to posses a glow casted by Ra the Sun God, is the November birthstone Topaz. Meaning "fire" in Sanskrit, Topaz are most popular for their rich yellowish orange color, as not many gemstones come in yellow hues in Nature. These gems have been found in very large sizes weighing several hundred of pounds although they are still pretty rare.
One of the most famous colorless topaz, was said to be so spectacular that is was set in the Portuguese crown jewels because it was mistaken for a 1680 carat diamond. Years later, it was found that the joke was one them.
Another mistake that is often made among gemstones is Novembers alternate yellow birthstone, the Citrine. Years ago, there was a rapid growth in popularity of the lemon colored gemstones by the European bourgeoisie. They wanted flashy, elaborate baubles containing what is called Golden or Smoky Topaz, when in fact, these were merely treated citrine. Around the middle of the 18th century, it was discovered that amethyst could be heated to very high temperatures to create the look of yellow citrine, thus starting the trend.
With most jewelry, only a trained eye can spot the difference between a topaz and a natural yellow citrine (burnt citrine contains a suble striped look and can be considerably less expensive than topaz).
Here's a shot of the beautiful actress/model Milla Jovovich at the premiere of her movie The Perfect Getaway wearing a stunning citrine necklace.
I'm not particularly in love with it paired with her outfit. I would have liked to see her in maybe a pale blue topaz piece to set off those amazing eyes of hers. Still a decent look though. ~vK
