Nas Mayan Inspired Chain

Nasir Jones has officially shut the chain game down.
The Legendary Nas unveiled a new pendant, made exclusively by Jason of Beverly Hills, during his performance at the South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) earlier this month that will have chain lovers drooling.
The pendant boasts over a kilo of 18k gold and is covered in flawless white diamonds. It features a 3D bust of Chichen Itza, the ancient Mayan pyramid that sits at the historic archaeological site in Mexico. One of the most impressive features is the spot-on, replica engraving of the Mayan calendar on the back of the piece.
The streets are already buzzing about the new album, "Life Is Good", but right here, you can get your first close up look at the piece that caused a "chain reaction" at SXSW.

24K Gold Skincare

This is obviously not the latest installment of the Iron Man franchise, or some luxurious new line of accessories (or is it?).
The masked model is actually wearing a 24 karat gold facial mold by skincare professionals, KollagenX. This sample is from the company's line of beauty products that promise instant results with its "luxuriously enhanced" technology. The product was reportedly inspired by the beauty regimen of Cleopatra who was thought to have slept with a golden mask to preserve her youth.
But is everything that glitters good for the skin?

Gold and Diamond ATM Machine

Often times in the jewelry business, you come across that client who, for whatever reason, needs to get their hands on the first sparkly thing that they can find at the last possible second. It's understandable. We all forget holidays and anniversaries. Since birthdays seem to come around every other weekend, you can't blame a person for not being able to keep track of when to go gift hunting.
Well, if your favorite jeweler isn't on speed dial, there may be a solution for you last minute shoppers.
If you live in India.
As convenient as those Redbox vending machines you find at the grocery store, you can now "buy gold at the touch of a fingertip" with Gitanjali's gold and diamond ATM machine.
All jokes aside, its a pretty clever way to accommodate the need for fast and easy access to luxury items.

World's (Not So) Cheapest Car: The GoldPlus Nano

They say that you can't polish a... (ehem) but you can in fact turn the world's most inexpensive vehicle into a multi-million dollar spectacle.
Indian automaker, Tata recently unveiled The GoldPlus Nano, a shamelessly ornate version of the once popular micro-car, worth 4.6 million dollars. Unlike the original Nano, which goes for around 3000 bucks, the blinged out version sports 194 pounds of hand-crafted 22-karat gold, 33 pounds of silver and 10,000 precious and semi-precious stones.
Not sure if it comes with additional cup holders.

Oscar Gold

Any person who can proudly display an Academy Award of Merit on their mantle would say that it is priceless. In truth, I'd say that the Oscar statuette only costs around 500 to 600 dollars to manufacture, seeing as how it only consists of random metals, specifically alloy, copper and nickel and is merely plated in 24 karat gold.
That's still not too shabby, but if the Academy were to actually hand out Oscars made of pure, solid gold, they would each need their own personal security guard.
See how much the golden boy would cost if he were made completely out of gold at today's ever rising price value, inside.
